Watts Live is compatible with Kamstrup meters and Echelon 83331 and 83332 meters and can be used if you have an address in the Copenhagen area (Radius network company) and the rest of Zealand (Cerius network company). We are continuously expanding to new areas.

Watts Live will cost 499 kr. We expect the first Watts Live to land in late November 2022.

How does Watts Live work?

Watts Live is a module that plugs directly into your electricity meter's corresponding module port. From here, Watts Live can pull instant data from your electricity meter to your Watts Energy Assistant app via your Wi-Fi network.

Two days after installing Watts Live, you will have a clear picture of what your power consumption actually looks like.

Watts Live reads the power consumption of your entire home from your electricity meter up to every 5 seconds (read more under technical specifications) and sends the data to the Watts Energy Assistant via WiFi 2.4 GHz.

What data can Watts Live retrieve from my electricity meter?

Watts Live retrieves data from all the electricity-using devices in your home and gives you a live, up-to-the-second view of your total consumption at all times.

As soon as you switch off the flat screen or unplug the mobile phone from the charger, you will instantly see the change in consumption.

Watts Live can also include your solar PV systems and retrieve live data views of your instantaneous solar energy production.

Where can I see data from Watts Live?

You will be able to see the data in our free app Watts Energy Assistant.

Which electricity meters are compatible with Watts Live?

Watts Live can be used if you have an electricity meter from the manufacturer Kamstrup or Echelon with the type number 83331 or 83332.

You must have an address in the Copenhagen area (Radius network company) and the rest of Zealand (Cerius network company). We are continuously expanding to new areas.

Both manufacturer and type number can be read directly on the physical electricity meter in the home.

Can I install a Watts Live module in my electricity meter myself?

Yes, you can insert the Watts Live card directly into your electricity meter. It's completely plug and play and you don't need an electrician. There is a so-called port in your meter where the card is inserted. You can see how in these installation videos:

How do I install Watts Live?

1) Download the Watts Energy Assistant app from where you usually download apps.

2) Open the Watts Energy Assistant app and create your home using NemID.

3) Select the residence where you want to install Watts Live.

4) Select the 'Add' icon from the menu bar, then 'Add Watts Live.

5) Follow the setup wizard in the app and enjoy using Watts Live.

Is my data safe when using Watts Live?

Yes, all data is sent encrypted from Watts Live to the Watts Energy Assistant app, and you can delete your data again at any time via the app.

Watts Live Kamstrup - How to order an Encryption Key from Radius

If your home is located in the Radius area (Hovedstadsområdet), you must order a security key from Radius before Watts can access your data.

The email must be the one associated with your electricity contract with your electricity supplier.
